The name "Maple Grove" was inspired by Brad's father Joe, who also encouraged us to set out on our own. It refers to a piece of ground that he farmed, which was at one time home to a one-room school house with the same name.
Although Brad grew up on a farm, he moved away to marry a "city girl". After 7 years, the "city girl" was convinced to give the country life a try! Brad and Cathy moved back to live and work on that small family farm and now are enjoying raising their 2 boys, 2 dogs, and occasional barn kittens in the country.
